NENUPHAR LAMP
2015
I designed this lamp during my internship at Kristian Knobloch’s design studio. I started from a sketch of Kristian, but I worked in complete autonomy and I went in a totally different direction, while remaining faithful to Kristian’s mind. He trusted me and was very seduced by the project. I tried to make this object modern and poetic, with simple lines and a certain lightness to it. The idea is to modulate the light by opening or closing the «wings» of the lamp. By combining multiple lamps in different positions, the user can create its own composition, and change easily the atmosphere of the room.
