During my internship at Kristian Knobloch design studio, I worked on a simple wall shelf, easy to manufacture and still relatively affordable. By changing the material of the disc, the object becomes more luxurious or on the contrary more playful. I used the principle of interlocking, very present in Kristian’s creations. The lateral disk, which fits into a slot, can serve as a support for books. A mirror is incorporated in the shelf : it simply leans on the wall and hangs in a groove of the wooden board.
