RIVER GODDESS
2022
In 2022, I did all the graphic design part of a collaborative creative project initiated by Laura Merveille, founder of the non-binary vintage shop VIRILE in Brussels. The theme of this project was "Zone Humide" (Wet zone) and it inspired me to create this illustration of a creature I imagine to be some sort of River Goddess. She makes one with the nature around her, plants and insect, in symbiosis.

Art Nouveau is everywhere in Brussels, and has impacted me a lot these last years. I wanted to allow myself to explore a very decorative and elaborate style, enjoying the pleasure of drawing intricate vegetal elements, far from the minimalist trend. These posters are sold at Thatswhatxsaid, a feminist gallery & print shop in the heart of Brussels.
